There is ample scientific evidence* to show that the vegetable chitosan (KiOnutrime-Cs) contained in Clavis Vegetable Chitosan encourages the maintenance of healthy cholesterol levels, in that it:
- Reduces cholesterol (-24%)
- Reduces triglycerides (-69%)
- Reduces LDL cholesterol (-88%) in the blood and significantly increases HDL cholesterol (+223%)
- Reduces fatty deposits in the aorta.
In summary, it reduces total cholesterol – low density lipoproteins (LDL: bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, and increases high density lipoproteins (HDL: good cholesterol).
Vegetable chitosan is also effective even at low doses.
